This policy explains what personal data this store collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect from you

When you order: name, billing address, email address, telephone number and order contents. Nothing is posted, so no delivery address is collected. Payment card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored by this store.

When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you put in the message.

When you sign up for marketing: your email address and the fact that you consented.

2. Data collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring site and similar technical information. This is used to keep the store working, detect fraud and understand which pages perform.

3. Why we use it

To take payment and fulfil orders, which is necessary to perform our contract with you. To meet legal obligations such as tax record keeping. For our legitimate interests in preventing fraud, improving the store and measuring advertising. And, where you have given consent, to send marketing and to set non-essential cookies.

4. Who we share it with

Our ecommerce platform, payment processors, and analytics and advertising providers. Hotel bookings are shared with the property concerned so the room can be held. Some of these providers operate outside the UK and EEA; where that happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

5. Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep the cart and checkout working and cannot be turned off. Analytics and advertising cookies, including pixels used to measure ad campaigns, are optional. Browser settings can block or clear cookies, though the checkout may not work correctly without the essential ones.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically six years. Marketing contacts are kept until consent is withdrawn. Contact messages are kept while the query is open and for a reasonable period after.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to or restrict certain processing, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened. Requests can be made through the contact page and are answered within one month.

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, you can complain to the data protection regulator in your country. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

9. Children

This store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
